Completed in 2002, the Delta Sun Peaks Resort is a world class, year-round destination resort located approximately 50 miles from the Kamloops International Airport. It is located 4000 feet above sea level, directly adjacent to the golf course and Sunburst Chair Lift, with access to hiking and mountain biking trails and the pedestrian village with many restaurants and boutiques. The Sun Peaks Resort offers an 18 hole Graham Cooke designed golf course with spectacular views. The resort is fully ski-in and ski-out with three mountains and over 3,678 skiable acres with 117 runs. It is the 3rd largest skiable terrain in Canada and also offers over 40 miles of scenic cross-country trails. A fully equipped Health Club features heated outdoor pool, three hot tubs, sauna, and steam room. The restaurant is open daily and a children's menu is available and ages six and under eat free. A Children's Creative Centre is available with toys, games, and activities. A Business Center, catering, special event and conference facilities are also available. Guestrooms and suites each feature: cable TV, clock radios, coffeemakers, mini-refrigerator, two telephones with voice mail, high speed Internet access, two bath robes, writing desk and lounge chair. The Mountain Suite is 1149 sqft. located on the 4th floor with a spectacular mountain view from a private balcony, a separate bedroom with king bed, living room with fireplace, two bathrooms and a soaker tub. The One Bedroom Suite is 579 sqft. and offers views of the mountain village, private balcony, separate bedroom with king bed, and living room with fireplace and sofa bed. The Junior Suite is 551 sqft. and features a combined bedroom with king bed and living room with sofa bed. Rooms offer either one king or two double beds. The Deluxe Room is 442 sqft. overlooking the courtyard. The Premier Room and Delta Room are 383 sqft. with either courtyard or mountain view, the Premier features a balcony.
